In 1923, young boy in his teens laid the foundation of Hajoori and Sons, in Surat, Gujarat. During the pre-independence era, he was a bottler for the british drink, but fate didn't let him enjoy the success and so the reigns were taken over by Mr. Mohsin Abdul Rahim Hajoori.
Mr. Hajoori continued bottling for the british drink. He became inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's Swadeshi movement during the pre independence era and he gave up the bottling for the britishers, this was a start to a phenomenal drink which was the first Swadeshi (India's) drink.
